Obituary of Stephen Dana Petersen

Announcing the passing of Stephen Dana Petersen on January 14th, 2023.

Stephen was 86 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilford and Lillian Petersen, four sisters- Lena Merrill, Zelona Giaque, Alice Gunnell and Lillie Bell Petersen, as well as three brothers- Marvin, Warren, Phil, and David Petersen. He has one surviving brother Nolan in SLC, Utah.

Stephen leaves behind his wife Joyce Teller Petersen of 67 years, three sons, Dallas, Darrell and Kirt, and their two daughters, Charlene Hanson and Stephanie Hogle, along with 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grand children.

The final funeral service will be Saturday, January 28th at 11:00am. At the Solomon and Broadway chapel: 977 E. Broadway, Mesa, 85204.

The viewing will be from10:00-10:45, with the burial at the Mesa Cemetery following the funeral.
