Obituary of Christine Wells

Christine Wells, 84, passed from this life on August 28,2023 in Desert Banner Hospital surrounded by her loving family and the love and prayers of many friends and family, near and far.

Christine was born on October 4th, 1938 in Kaw City, OK to John Clifford and Mary Elizabeth Cole. Her mother passed away in 1941 and her father moved Christine and her brother, John Jr, to Borger, TX.

Christine Cole married Clarence Wells on Dec. 5, 1954 in Borger, where they lived until 1966, when they moved their family of 4 children to Mesa, Az. She remained in Mesa for the rest of her life.

Christine was a wonderful, loving, christian mother and raised 4 adoring children, Debi, David, Stephen and Sharon. She was very involved in church activities and loved traveling back and forth to TX often to visit family, especially her daddy. After her children were raised, she went to work for Micro Semi in Scottsdale and worked there for over 25 years until she retired to take care of the love of her life, her husband of 62 years, who was stricken with alzheimers.

Christine was known by many names, Daughter, Grand-daughter, Baby Girl, Sister, Sis, Mrs. Wells, Sister Wells, Honey, Sister in Law, Mom, Mama, Mother in law, Memaw, Grandma, Cousin, Aunt, Friend, Neighbor, Best Friend, Baby Sitter , and Chris by her work friends. She was sweet, kind hearted, nurturing, giving, a wonderful neighbor, and loved by so many. She will be missed more than words can say by those who love her.

Christine is survived by 4 children: Debi, David (Teri), Stephen (Tamara), Sharon (Robert), Eight Grandchildren: Krista, Chandra, Jarrod, Derek, Cortney, Cody, Stephanie and Taylor. And two grandchildren, Aimee and Tony, who were waiting for her on the other side.

Great Grandchildren: Elias, Kaia, Jadan, Ashlee, AJ, Aaron, Gavin, Carter, Bruce, Roman, River, Emerson, Remi Maverick, Sawyer and one new great, great grandchild, Autumn.
