Obituary of Chuck Castle
Charles Ronald Castle, a proud Veteran of the US Army, passed away January 16th 2024 at 12:05 pm at the VA Medical Center.
The son of Charles E. Castle and Patricia Faye Glover, was born May 6th 1950 in Buffalo, NY.
At the age of 19 Charles enlisted in the Army. His education and training completed was a Field Wireman. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Private First Class. As apart of this service Charles recieved 5 honorable service medals. They included National Defense, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign, A Bronze Star, and A Purple Heart.
Charles is survived by his daughter Wendy Haught, granddaughter Tanya Marrs, great and great-great grandchildren, niece Heather Kearns, a host of cousins and best bud Brian Glanding. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Charles E. Castle and Patricia Faye Castle, daughter Lisa Orozco and sister Deborah Kearns.
His loved ones will remember his sense of humor. He was quite the character!
